I would highly recommend Mr Stephen Martin. After many years of fearing going to the dentist, I feel totally calm and safe having treatment with him. He has a very gently manner and is very patient, kind and helpful. With the changes that have happened over the years within the dental profession, I am so pleased we have found a caring family dentist again.
I have been with this practice for some time now, initially with Mr Maran and latterly having extensive root canal treatment, crowns and general treatment from Mr Martin. I have always been very happy with my treatment and in particular with Mr Martin have pleasantly been surprised at how a long session of root canal treatment seems to pass very quickly. All in all a much more pleasant experience than is usually conjured up by “a visit to the dentist”. My resultant repaired/crowned set of teeth also continue to give good service! My visits to the dental hygienist have also been most satisfactory. I would unreservedly recommend this practice to anyone.
I found all the staff in the practice very friendly and approachable. My treatment was unfortunately a lengthy one but I am happy to report that the results were excellent and I would thoroughly recommend this practice to anyone.
I felt very comfortable at the practice from my first visit. Every aspect of the treatment was explained in detail and I was very happy with the end result.
What is endodontics?
Endodontics is also better known as Root Canal Treatment. Root Canal Treatment becomes necessary when the nerve of a tooth becomes irreversibly damaged, and therefore has to be surgically removed.
Periodontal disease affects the gums, bone and other supporting tissues of the teeth. Most individuals suffer gum inflammation from time to time, around 10% of the population appear to suffer from the more severe forms.
